amazing spa and perfect location!

i was wowed by the spa! it was just so nice having it right in the hotel. the staff were lovely too. the smells in the hotel were wonderful, the cleaning was great, it was really really nice. i also appreciated the hotel's elegant touches.
the hallway felt unclean to me. i've stayed all over and had wonderful hotels everywhere i've been, but this one felt unclean. i noticed hair all over the bed when i arrived, and the tile in the rooms didn't seem to have been mopped.

the hotel location near the main street was very convenient. i liked the hotel design it featured simplicity and small unique elements. i found a great bathtub in the room and used the onsen every night. the room was dark and quiet.
the room was not cleaned to a satisfactory standard when i arrived. lights and switches that controlled elements in the bathroom did not make much sense. there also was no microwave.

the staff offered excellent service . they helped with all requests including storing luggage after check out for late sightseeing. staff members were polite and friendly at all times. it was much appreciated.

the hotel has a traditional entrance with modern amenities i found cafes and eateries nearby the location is quite central near a market reachable within minutes by walking

The location was acceptable for getting around the city.
I found that cleanliness was not a priority. The toilet buttons were not properly cleaned! The beds were very hard. I seemed like I was sleeping on a rock.

the onsen was a real treat after a day out exploring. i loved the self-serve common areas like the bar. the room was big enough.
no usb ports in the room was a bummer. charging devices was a pain. coffee machine was in a different section of the hotel.

the front desk helped with restaurant reservations since i don't speak japanese. staff were always helpful and rooms were comfortable for my family. they spoke english very well and provided good service.
